Role Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Platform Vice President, Senior Leadership Team, and the Director of FP&A. The role focuses on reporting, analytics, and developing tools to support operational and sales objectives across corporate operations and third‑party facilities.

A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:

Planful Product Ownership

  • Own Planful configuration: dimensions/hierarchies, member management, drivers/calcs, substitution variables, and audit/change logs.
  • Template‑based planning: design and govern budget, forecast, workforce, and driver templates; control approval roles and “mark‑as‑complete” workflows.
  • Dynamic Planning: build interactive models/cubes for rolling forecasts and scenario analysis; implement copy/lock at stage gates.
  • External Source Models: design and maintain external data tables (e.g., UOM conversions, demand/ops inputs) feeding structured and dynamic planning.

FP&A Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead monthly forecast and annual budget processes for assigned BUs; build driver‑based models and sensitivity/scenario views (Base/Downside/Upside).
  • Run rolling forecasts; coordinate inputs from Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain; balance top‑down guidance with bottoms‑up plans.

Reporting, Analytics & Profitability

  • Produce exec‑ready variance analysis packs (price/mix/volume, cost, freight, rebates) and Gap‑to‑Plan bridges.
  • Build Planful reports & views; enable Power BI P&L/variance dashboards using Planful scenarios (Actual/Budget/1+11, 2+10, etc.).
  • Perform profitability analysis (customer/product/SKU), cost‑to‑serve, contribution margin, and margin waterfall analytics.

What You Bring to this Role:

  • 3+ years in FP&A or finance systems administration with hands‑on ownership of an EPM (Planful required)
  • Strong experience with scenario management, template governance, approval roles, and audit/change control
  • ERP fluency (JDE preferred or similar), plus Power BI (or equivalent BI) for financial reporting; advanced Excel
  • Robust modeling skills: driver‑based forecasting, NPV/IRR/ROI, sensitivity/scenario analysis
  • Proven ability to translate operational inputs (demand/production/logistics) into financials; excellent communication with execs and field leaders
  • Process ownership mindset—able to define calendars, enforce freezes/locks, and drive cross‑functional milestones

Preferred

  • Hands‑on External Source Model design, Dynamic Planning implementation, and workforce planning in Planful.
  • Experience aligning consensus demand plans to financial forecasts in high‑SKU environments (price/mix/seasonality).
  • SQL/Power Query for data shaping; familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
  • Credentials: CPA, CMA, FPAC, or IMA FP&A coursework (nice‑to‑have).

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • You're a strong communicator who enjoys teamwork
  • You are self-motivated
  • You have a flexible mindset that allows you to change what you're working on without skipping a beat

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $81,800 - $109,010. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
