A Service Technician I at White Cap…

  • Supports and conducts basic customer and warranty repairs including documenting with pictures or information. Records information about parts, materials or repair procedures.

  • Assists with conducting inspections for preventive maintenance and repairs.

  • Participates in performing inspections on new construction equipment from the manufacturers.

  • Assists with installing Salesman kits on new and used construction equipment.

  • Supports the inspection of trade-in units to prepare for sale.

  • Participates in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and diesel and gasoline engines.

  • Assists in selecting parts needed for estimates and repairs.

  • Works with diagnostic tools and laptops to diagnose repairs.

  • Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hydraulics and diesel engines.

  • Vocational or Technical training preferred.
