Job Summary

Responsible for developing corporate recruiting strategy. Plan, implement, and monitor recruiting team direction and hiring activities for the organization's business needs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Provides strategic leadership to the recruitment team.

  • Works with managers to identify and define specific new hire requirements. Establishes and monitors hiring standards and practices.

  • Develops and implements new interviewing, recruiting, and hiring techniques.

  • Strategizes and determines effective recruiting sources, including job fairs, college recruiting, internet ad placements, and any media correspondence.

  • Designs and administers recruiting programs. Provides functional direction and review to local and national hiring.

  • Develops new initiatives and assigns special projects to team members.

  • Selects, develops, and motivates assigned staff. Responsible for coaching, counseling, and developing team associates.

Nature and Scope

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.

  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.

  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Executive level recruiting experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing a high-performing corporate recruiting team

  • Adept in collaboration with functional leaders and HR Partners

  • Demonstrated history of the development and implementation of corporate recruiting strategy with senior leadership and other key stakeholders

  • Experience using Workday Recruiting

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Atlanta Metropolitan area
