Your responsibilities will include Work cross functionally with marketing, consumer design, product design, quality, procurement, safety, MFG engineering/ support, and materials teams to insure all deliverables are understood and met Ensure readiness of Early Product Containment activity management (led by quality) Facilitate factory analysis including capacity, equipment footprint, material flow/ storage, labor/cost roll-up, asset reuse, and CAPEX submission Ability to work in a manufacturing & office environment, walking long distances, stand on feet for long periods of time, minor lifting (generally 30lbs or less) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience leading a team consisting of engineering & operations professionals. Advanced technical degree or engineering certifications such as Black Belt Experience in leading project teams from inception through completion with direct responsibility for execution of vertical start-up Understanding & practical application of fundamental quality tools & statistics used for problem solving. Independent with guidance in only complex scenarios Ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels of the organization. Strong communication skills. Effectively sharing & obtaining information from internal & external parties. Strong decision making skills, with a drive to proactively obtain complete & accurate information. Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Product Development processes Understanding and practical application of fundamental quality tools & statistics used for problem solving Experience in applying technical knowledge to solve a range of problems Strong Computer skills such as Google Workspace and SmartSheets
