The team you will be a part of The Financial Planning and Analysis team develops and prepares the organization's financial plans and budgets, interprets financial reports and tax returns, and maintains good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities. Supports corporate planning by conducting analyses of competitors, operational effectiveness and capacity utilization. This role in summary Responsible for financial planning, analysis and business partnering to multiple categories Your responsibilities will include TARGET SETTING: ● Roll up categories' P&L plans in collaboration with sales, SC and marketing team ● Review and align with the stakeholders and presentations to the leadership ● Target finalization, communication and deployment across categories BUSINESS SUPPORT: ● Business support to create a business strategy to win and achieve business goals ● Appreciation of Product Value Chain ● Prepare and Maintain Value Chains to determine product pricing and profitability ● Run a strong process governance on price and scheme proposals and effective roll out in close coordinate with the category marketing and sales team PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: ● Preparation of category level monthly results, detailed variance analysis and presentation to the leadership and lead the course corrective actions ● Competition Analysis related to Industry, Financials and Market Share Trends and tracking movements ● Collaboration with Accounting and Commercial teams to understand P&L drivers, swings and to build forecasts BUSINESS CASE ASSESSMENT: ● Financial evaluation of investments behind new product development through creating business cases and support in alignment and approval governance OTHERS: ● Lead and drive process automations and financial controls in the department ● Reporting requirements to regional and global stakeholders Minimum requirements Minimum 3 years experience within a finance role with similar levels of responsibility Experience in Financial Modelling and Variance Analysis Preferred skills and experiences Experience with SAP or other ERP Systems Exposure to Google Apps Suite - including Sheets, Docs, Scripts, Presentations Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation See what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
