What you will do:


The Student Services team is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through high-quality customer service and support. This team plays a critical role in the success of our operations by ensuring all guest needs are planned, executed, and supported to the highest standard.


Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with guest Check-In happening during scheduled shifts (morning check-in and/or Evening Reception Dinners) 
  • Maintain a neat, and organized front-of-house environment
  • Perform setup and teardown of internal spaces used for Wheelhouse East Inc. driving programs 
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing driving safety gear, including race suits and helmets
  • Stock and maintain food and beverage locations for daily program use
  • Assist with retail sales and inventory management (stocking, organizing, shipping)
  • Prepare student awards and manage giveaway inventory
  • Protect the moral, legal, and financial well-being of the Company
  • Continually work with other team members to find new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills You Possess:


  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Experience with retail point of sale system
  • Ability to interact well with customers and fellow employees 
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner
  • Ability to use creative thinking in all situations
  • Must be able to make quick, sound decisions that match the Company’s values and standards
  • Experience driving a manual transmission a plus

  • Adhere to an event-driven work schedule—with some evenings, weekends, and holidays required

  • Professionally represent the company in the community, industry organizations, and events

  • Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass background and drug screening


Physical Demands:

  

  • Often required to work long hours when needed, or as business requires (including holidays, nights and weekends)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • May be required to work on feet for long periods, and in inclement weather
  • Able to work in all types of weather
  • Moderate levels of stress may be associated with this position

About Wheelhouse East, Inc.

Since opening in 2006, Ford Performance Racing School has provided instruction in high-performance driving to drivers of all levels. In addition to offering traditional driving instruction at retail, the school is home to business and product training programs conducted for Michelin/BFGoodrich, as well as the complimentary programs offered to first owners of new Ford Performance vehicles exclusively. Starting with the Boss Track Attack program in 2012, these programs have expanded to include the ST Octane Academy for Fiesta ST and Focus ST owners, GT500 Track Attack for Mustang Shelby GT500 customers, GT350 Track Attack for Mustang Shelby GT350 customers, RS Adrenaline Academy for owners of Focus RS, Raptor Assault for F-150 Raptor owners, and ST SUV Experience for Edge ST and Explorer ST customers.

The Ford Performance Racing School is comprised of regional headquarters in Concord, North Carolina and Tooele, Utah with satellite venues in each region hosting the ST SUV Experience. Along with Ford and Michelin/BFGoodrich, official partners of Ford Performance Racing School include Brembo, Castrol, RECARO, Coats, Stoner Car Care and Product 41.
