Driver

SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for LOCAL pickup and delivery of parts between various distribution centers and end customers.  Class A CDL is required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Using various types of company vehicles ensure the timely pickup and delivery of inventory and supplies with maintain safe driving practices
• Validate the correct inventory and goods are packaged for pickups based on packing list information
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicles and trailers to ensure safe operation
• Maintain all DOT and organization specific driver and trip logs
• Ensure safe operation of forklift, pallet jacks, and any other necessary equipment
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 year of relevant work experience
• Class A CDL and related DOT clearances REQUIRED

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Forklift certification or prior experience

OTHER:

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
