Our Sutton OSB manufacturing facility in Heaters, WV has an opening for a skilled Industrial Shift Electrician with a thorough comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, processes and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech OSB manufacturing equipment. 

Key Functions:

• Safely Repairing & troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
• Preventative maintenance responsibilities.
• Support of goals and objectives of the entire maintenance team.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting
• Willingness and ability gain/utilize skills to perform multi-craft work

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Minimum three (2) years industrial electricity and/or process control experience
• Stable work history
• Ability to work rotating shift, including weekends, overtime and holidays as needed
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
• Good teamwork skills, including the willingness and ability to work in diverse groups
• Ability to write legibly and communicate as necessary to accomplish tasks
• Willingness and ability to complete mobile equipment training
• Ability to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb steps and ladders, work from heights, work in small and restricted areas and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 12 hours
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
• Good working knowledge of industrial electricity issues
• Commitment to follow all unit electrical and maintenance practices
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have resume detailing education and work history required for consideration
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check & physical

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Vocational or technical school certificate in related area
• Past employment experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP or another CMMS
• PLC troubleshooting and/or programming experience
