One position for a salaried non-exempt Production Administrative Assistant within the Finance Department is now open at the Zwolle EWP Mill. This experienced professional will provide daily operational, financial, and administrative support to ensure smooth mill operations. This role is responsible for tracking production, managing raw materials, supporting financial processes, and assisting with front‑office coverage. The position works closely with Production, Finance, Procurement, and administrative teams to maintain accurate records, uphold internal controls, and support efficient day‑to‑day functions.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
Production & Operations Support
Monitor and report daily lumber production.
Manage and track lumber raw materials, including handling cores.
Maintain and ensure compliance with lumber internal controls.
Record daily raw materials inventory and consumption using LIMS and Excel.
Monitor and document by‑product volumes (chips, bark, etc.).
Support plywood and veneer production tracking, including recovery, run rates, and daily production flow.
Perform work cycle monitoring and resolve open work cycles to support accurate system data.
Financial & Compliance Support
Process and route check requests in accordance with company procedures.
Execute the Pay Within Range (PWR) process.
Assist the Finance Manager in maintaining and reviewing internal controls.
Coordinate donations, advertising, and promotional requests, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Complete month‑end responsibilities, including final log inventory and final production reporting.
Procurement & Purchasing
Purchase goods and materials using the P‑Card, ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines and documentation requirements.
Administrative & Front Office Support
Provide front door/visitor monitoring and coverage when the primary administrator is out.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support mill operations.
Associate’s degree in finance preferred.
Experience in production, manufacturing, or administrative support preferred.
Proficiency with Excel, LIMS, and standard reporting tools.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Understanding internal controls and financial processes is a plus.
What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $50,120-$75,108 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5%25 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our contribution equal to 5%25 of your eligible pay.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
