This is a full-time hourly position, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader. Rate of pay range is $36.585 - $42.140/hr plus shift differential. Hourly production and maintenance employees at the facility are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Savings Plan and 401(k) and 15%25 off Weyerhaeuser recreation permits.

The maintenance department works a variety of shifts dispersed over a 24/7 schedule.

Key Functions, to be performed safely:

• Perform highly skilled mechanical and maintenance tasks including installation.
• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and other mill equipment.
• Troubleshoot the cause of downtime events, determine course of action, and carry out repair to return equipment to effective and safe operating condition.
• Lubricate and clean parts, perform maintenance planning, layout work, and weld as required.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical
• Submit a resume.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Job Requirements:

• Wear all safety equipment and obey all safety rules.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely.
• Be proficient in the use of hand and power tools as well as precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to perform labor-intensive work.
• Be able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas.
• Be able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work from 2-3 hours at a time for 10-13 hours.

Ideal Candidates:

• Have 5 years of maintenance work experience and/or educational history.
• Have wood products experience.
• Have Journeyman Card.

Compensation: Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. We are targeting a pay range of $36.585 - $42.140/hour based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
