What’s the role?
In this role, you’ll help shape how Westpac manages Enterprise and Strategic Risk.
You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to simplify enterprise-wide risk management processes, uplift risk practices and keep an eye on the big-picture risks that could impact the bank.
This is a full-time position based in Sydney, with standard business hours and the flexibility you need to do your best work. If you enjoy connecting the dots, working collaboratively and influencing meaningful change, you’ll feel right at home here.
What do I need?
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience working in risk, legal or compliance, ideally with some Second-Line experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to synthesise complex information, and a knack for getting into the detail when it matters.
- Ability to work collaboratively and strong stakeholder management.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to look ahead, understand impacts and spot interdependencies.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
