What’s the role?
As a Manager in Business Transaction Banking BCM, you’ll help keep our risk and control environment strong, steady and always improving. You’ll work closely with teams across the Line of Business to make sure risks are spotted early, incidents are well‑managed, and our processes stay aligned to 1LOD requirements.
Day to day, you’ll support deep dives, thematic reviews, value chain governance and key risk activities, all while helping uplift risk culture and maturity across the business. You’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting compliance, regulatory obligations, and business continuity planning, ensuring our teams have what they need to operate safely and confidently.
This is a full‑time role based in Sydney, suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and partnering with people to make things better.
What do I need?
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Experience in risk, compliance or operational control environments, ideally in financial services.
- A solid understanding of risk frameworks, regulatory requirements and operational processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and an eye for detail.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Confidence working in a fast‑moving environment where priorities can shift.
