About this role
We’re on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Solution Designer to join Westpac. You’ll be based in Sydney, working full-time in a hybrid setup. In this role, you’ll design and deliver scalable, secure enterprise solutions that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical design, and ensure our systems are robust, efficient, and future-ready. - Strong background in UI and API development, design, modelling, and architecture.
- Deep expertise in Swagger/Open API standards and best practices.
- Proven ability to build and implement Micro Front Ends and Micro Services.
- Skilled in SQL and familiar with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including Aurora, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of governance, security, and privacy principles, with experience in payment systems and workflows being advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Additional strengths include experience with AWS cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, and standards such as ISO, JSON, XML, and relational models.
