About this role
Join Westpac’s Financial Markets Transformation Delivery team as a Business Analyst and help drive key changes across our financial market's initiatives.
What’s the role?
As a Business Analyst, you’ll facilitate end-to-end delivery on product migration, Market risk, credit risk, and process improvement projects.
You’ll collaborate with traders, risk managers, technology teams, and other stakeholders to capture requirements, document processes, and support integration, testing, and solution delivery that meets business and regulatory needs.
This 12-month role is based in Sydney with flexible work options (3 days on office).
What do I need?
- Experience engaging stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Technology, and Risk.
- Strong understanding of financial market products (FX, derivatives) and trade lifecycle processes.
- Project experience with Murex and/or Calypso, ideally on system or product migrations.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and solution design.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving.
- Familiarity with Market Risk, Credit Risk, or acting as a Technology BA on integration or migration projects.
