What’s the role?
You’ll play a key role in driving Westpac Group’s FX market share by building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions for wholesale customers. Your focus will be on acquiring new-to-bank clients, identifying opportunities within existing portfolios, and winning back FX business from customers who currently transact elsewhere. You’ll work closely with Relationship Managers and our FX specialists to provide strategic advice and seamless onboarding, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes every time.

What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong mix of technical knowledge and relationship-building skills. You’ll be confident in identifying opportunities, influencing stakeholders, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs while maintaining compliance. Here’s what will help you excel:
- Proven experience in FX sales and business development within wholesale banking or financial markets.
- A solid understanding of FX products, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage clients and stakeholders.
- A data-driven approach to spotting and converting business opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
