What’s the role?

Westpac’s Group Privacy and Records (GPR) team forms a cross-divisional team to enable an enterprise-wide approach in the management of Westpac’s Data Privacy and Records Management risks. We have the unique opportunity to engage with all division to navigate and monitor their privacy and records management risk profiles. In addition, as privacy encompasses multiple disciplines to maintain community trust, our team is supported by various other divisions including Legal, Cyber, Data and Technology


What will I be doing?

As a Privacy & Records Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support across various services including:

Privacy & Records Risk Assessments

  • Managing and coordinating enquiries from the various WBC divisions
  • Triaging and conducting initial assessment of initiatives which could introduce new privacy risks

2nd line Compliance Monitoring

  • Completion privacy and records governance requirements
  • Completing activities to identify any potential areas of new risk or control weaknesses 

Stakeholder Engagement, Operations & Training

  • Coordinating and assisting in the design of training and awareness activities
  • Support in administering improvement projects
  • Assistance in managing monthly team actions and obligations
