Opportunity Overview:
This is a great opportunity for an engineering contractor in Warrendale., PA supporting the design and implementation of safety related Instrumentation and Control systems. In the role, you will work a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on-site in Warrendale and 2-3 days remote. You will report to the Functional and System Engineering Manager- Safety and Reactor Systems.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Create Functional Logic Diagrams
- Develop Design Specifications
- Use an electronic component's bill of materials to calculate a predicted MTBF using Reliability Workbench software
- Analyze field data to calculate a component's observed MTBF
- Support Project Management on schedule creation
- Compose clear and concise reports of the above tasks for internal and external customers.
Who You Are:
- Apply fundamental engineering principles
- Work within a team and also be able to handle tasks independently
- Apply fundamental mathematical, statistical, and engineering principles
- Effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30/hour to $40/hour.
