• Lead and supervise craft personnel performing nuclear maintenance, construction, or modification activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, allocate resources, and monitor task progress to ensure adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Oversee pre‑job planning activities, including work package reviews, hazard analyses, tooling needs, and readiness assessments to support flawless work execution.
• Ensure strict compliance with nuclear safety, radiation protection, and industrial safety protocols, reinforcing human performance fundamentals and safe work behaviors.
• Interface directly with operations, engineering, planning, and work management teams to resolve technical issues, clarify work instructions, and maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders.
• Verify craft qualifications and training requirements, maintaining up-to-date records to ensure personnel meet site- and job‑specific credentialing standards.
• Conduct field walkdowns, evaluate work areas for readiness, identify obstacles, and proactively resolve conditions that may impede job execution.
• Review completed work packages, ensure documentation accuracy, and support post‑job critiques to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and enforce site policies, attendance expectations, and work performance standards, addressing personnel issues promptly and effectively.
• Support outage, project, and maintenance milestones, adjusting staffing levels and shift coverage as required to meet operational demands.
• Perform additional supervisory duties and provide leadership support as assigned by site or project management.
As a successful candidate, you bring the following qualifications and capabilities:
• Completion of high school education or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
• Proven experience in nuclear operations, craft supervision, or related industrial leadership roles
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture, regulatory requirements, and craft discipline fundamentals
• Ability to successfully pass all background checks, drug screening, and medical evaluations required for nuclear site access
• Demonstrated leadership ability, communication skills, and experience directing multi‑discipline craft teams
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in radiologically controlled areas and adhere to all protective protocols
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and evolving field conditions
