About the role:

As a Procurement Program Manager, I&C & WPB you will oversee the planning and coordination of procurement across multiple large I&C and WPB projects. You will align project planning and execution across major projects and the PPMs supporting specific project procurements with suppliers, driving consistency, strategic agreement, communication, ensuring readiness for execution. You will lead supply chain resources across the supply chain teams in delivering direct procurements to support projects and revenue recognition for the business. You will report to the Global Manager, Project Procurement - I&C/WPB Electrical and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a hybrid role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee execution of project procurement strategies

  • Build relationships with BU project teams to understand and develop solutions across I&C and WPB project portfolio

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure agreement on our goals

  • Contribute to project planning proposals and approval stage-gates·

  • Lead program-level risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring·

  • Partner with team to improve sourcing strategies and supplier engagement·

  • Monitor KPIs and report on major project performance to senior leadership·

  • Guide process improvements and digitalization projects within procurement programs·

  • Mentor and support procurement project managers·

  • Support development of procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.·

  • Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve our goals while using continuous improvement tactics.

  • Coordinate the RFx Process and establishing sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.

  • Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals while leading formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for complex and specialized materials, equipment, components, and services.

  • Lead Contract preparation and purchasing process.

  • Evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements.

  • Develop strategies and tactics to maximize supplier base cost/value.

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.

  • Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement policies and procedures.

  • Manage supply and supplier commitments after making a purchase order or contract, including change and contract management.

  • Analyze the entitlement and cost basis, supporting negotiation, drafting agreements on changes and reflecting the change in the System (SAP).

  • Support Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.

  • Utilize Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on middle/eastern Europe.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience supply chain management

  • 3+ years program management experience, EPC experience preferred.

  • Experience working with and across global teams

  • Experience in sourcing, supplier management and knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector preferred.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Project and procurement systems (SAP, Ariba) or similar systems preferred.

    Ability to travel from 10 to 20%

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $100,800 to $126,000 per year.
