Hierarchical Reporting: Operations Manager
Functional Reporting: Project Manager
Functional Supervision: Maintenance Manager, Material Management Teams
Key Interactions: Site Manager, Logistics and Handling Teams
As a Material package manager you are responsible for the complete management of a fleet of over 300 pieces of equipment under Westinghouse responsibility or provided by the client, from their mobilization on site to their final storage or return to the client.
You ensure the availability, compliance, and traceability of the equipment required for project execution, both in France and internationally.
Your missions and responsibilities include:
Define and implement procedures for equipment management and tracking
Adapt, prepare, and provide equipment according to the specific needs of each site
Ensure compliance of packaging and storage conditions
Conduct inventories and monitor stock levels
Anticipate needs for equipment and consumables
Manage restocking and place necessary orders
Organize transport to the site and movements on-site
Organize and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance in coordination with the Maintenance Manager
Supervise the equipment maintenance manager
Report any discrepancies or anomalies (inventory, damage, non-compliance, etc.)
Work Organization:
You will spend most of your time in our workshops or on nuclear sites in France or abroad.
Depending on the projects, you may work in shifts and/or on weekends.
The first assignment will be on the Iter project, mainly in Chaponnay during the development and qualification phase until 2027, then on the Iter site in Cadarache until the end of 2030.
Profile Required:
Engineering background in mechanics, welding, machining, logistics, etc., with at least 5 years of experience
Proficiency in equipment management processes
Experience in a similar role is highly valued
Recognized rigor, dynamism, and organizational skills
Comfortable with IT tools, especially Excel
Good level of English required
Valid driver’s license (B) required
