Opportunity Overview: I&C Technician – Contract role – Spring Outage 2026
WECTEC Staffing has an exciting opportunity for an I&C Technician with Westinghouse for the Spring outage.
What your day-to-day looks like:
- Performing instrumentation testing using digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and customer supplier equipment/simulators.
- Interpret drawings and execute test procedures.
- Operate electronic and electrical test equipment.
- Read and follow drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assemble/testing electronics units, applying knowledge of basic electronic theory and components.
- Learn, understand, and practice the appropriate quality, health, and safety procedures applicable to each work assignment.
What we need to see from you:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent job experience is required.
- 2+ years of experience is preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Field cable installation work is a plus.

Pay:
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $45/hr to 48.53/hr.
