About the role:

As Engineer II for APX Fleet Design Management, you will support AP1000 fleet strategy, standardization, and execution.

You will report to the Senior Manager, APX Fleet Design Management and be located at any Westinghouse locations in North America or EMEA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in the management of the AP1000 fleet design
• Support definition of delivery strategies for the Nuclear Island (NI) and Turbine Island (TI), including standardization approaches
• Develop product technology presentations
• Participate in collection, assessment for incorporation of lessons learned from the operating AP1000 fleet into the fleet design
• Work with teams (design, analysis, projects, and supply chain) to solve challenging technical problems to implement nuclear plant design
• Identify and define technical challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in AP1000 plant or new nuclear plant design

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $77,800 to $86,500 per year.
