Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

Move guest items to required location, complete “fronts” as assigned.  (Fronts are all guest request handled by the bell desk).

Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

  • Luggage Delivery
  • Room changes and key delivery
  • Convention Item room drop
  • Group room luggage delivery
  • Business Center delivery
  • Misc delivery (flowers gifts etc..) 

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

Ability to read write speak and understand English language in order to complete logs, service calls, claim checks and communicate with other employees.  Basic mathematical skills are necessary to count luggage.  This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift.  Ability to operate bell cart, telephone, computer to log, and smart device to receive and complete fronts.  Must poses superior guest service skills and the ability to provide superior guest service. 

Typical physical / mental demands

Ability to grasp, bend, crouch, lift and or carry, or otherwise move or push luggage on a truck weighing up to 200lbs to a height of 4 feet on a continuous basis.  The ability to walk/stand and work 100% of their 8 hour shift walking.
