Westfalia Fruit, situated in Tzaneen, Johannesburg and Howick, has graduate opportunities for suitably qualified candidates: 2026 Opportunities in the Graduates Programme.

Purpose of the role:

Westfalia Fruit is looking for young, talented, innovative, motivated, and ambitious graduates to join our 2026 Accelerated Graduates Programme (AGP). This Programme offers real-world industry exposure, structured on-the-job training, and extensive learning opportunities within a dynamic business environment. Participants will gain hands-on practical experience, develop critical professional skills, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth. The positions will be based in various locations:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured graduate development programme with rotational exposure
  • Apply academic knowledge to practical, real-world business operations
  • Support daily operational, technical, or administrative activities within the assigned discipline
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and development interventions
  • Prepare progress reports and project updates as required

 Qualification requirements:

Interested individuals must have a BSc, BEng, BEng-Tech, BCom, BTech or Degree in the following disciplines or related fields:

  • Agricultural Engineering-Tzaneen
  • Electrical Engineering-Tzaneen
  • Industrial Engineering-Tzaneen & JHB
  • Mechanical Engineering-Tzaneen
  • Horticultural-Tzaneen
  • Agricultural Science-Tzaneen
  • Plant Pathology -Tzaneen
  • Plant Breeding-Tzaneen
  • Health and Safety-Tzaneen, JHB & Howick
  • Biotechnology/Food Science -Tzaneen & Howick
  • Supply Chain/Logistics -Tzaneen
  • Finance-Tzaneen
  • Communications -Tzaneen
  • Social Worker-Tzaneen

Minimum requirements:

  • South African Citizen
  • Applicants must have completed suitable qualifications within above-mentioned disciplines.
  • Applicants must not be older than 35 years of age.
