About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join the Subacute Aged Care Inpatient Occupational Therapy team at Western Health.

 

Key responsibilities:

The successful applicant must have well developed assessment and treatment skills in the delivery of evidence based, person centred Occupational Therapy services to a subacute aged care cohort. They will be working as part of an innovative and energetic multidisciplinary team and will be involved in the supervision of Grade 1 OT and/or Allied Health Assistant staff. Sound communication and organisational skills are essential for this position.

 

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in aged care service provision
  • Have strong collaboration skills
  • Have experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership skills
  • Have experience in quality improvement and research
