In this role, you will operate within the Know Your Customer team of the Global Operations organization. As a KYC Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising a group of KYC associates and specialists who review customer cases requiring enhanced due diligence (ECDD), Customer Due Diligence ( CDD), Large Principal Money Transfers ( LPMTs) and Political Exposed Persons (PEP). This includes reviewing and understanding the customer behavior, their relationship with counterparties, economic profile, as well as identification and resolution of any potential suspicious activity.
Role Responsibilities
Manage a team of associates and specialists who investigate customer profiles to make sure that no anti-money laundering or other illegal financial activities are involved.
You will be responsible for employees’ performance, career development, and problem-solving.
We will be looking for you to have a highly engaged team whilst successfully achieving business and performance results on a consistent basis.
You will be a subject matter expert who assesses processes and recommends meaningful process changes with the goal of effectively managing AML scenarios.
You will make a difference by proactively creating and/or enhancing daily volume of work monitoring tools, reports, and processes.
You will be working closely with other Operations Supervisors and People Managers to ensure best practices are consistent among teams and the broader global team.
You will be monitoring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly always followed by team members and updated timely in partnership with supporting departments.
Role Requirements
Strong knowledge of AML Compliance, KYC process, experience in banking or in Fintech.
Experience in successfully leading and managing high performing teams whilst working cross functionally will be preferred.
CAMS certification would be evaluated as a plus.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English language (verbal and written).
Knowledge of MS Office programs
Background in reporting and data analysis.
Experience in project/ operational management and complex problem-solving skills.
People-oriented and solution-driven mindset.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 2,125– 3,116 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
