In this role, you will be working with PMs, Consultants, Technical Product Specialists, and SMEs in addition to our internal team. We are looking for curious person to be part of our diverse current teams of thinkers, testers, and doers. This includes architectural, technical, operational, and business aspects. You will need to act as the single point of authority around solution development phase for all issues relating to system design, integration and data modeling intended operation, and technical solution. You will give a standardized technical direction to the project team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Enforce our internal WU IT policy and standards compliance within any solutions design to help on strategy alignment, improve IT agility and help on resource and cost optimization in all aspects including Cybersecurity.
  • Creates complex conceptual designs including engineering interfaces and interactions, apply your experience migrating, integrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud native profile solutions avoiding technology diversity applied and ensuring interoperability within the ecosystem.
  • Research, evaluate and plan technical solutions to business problems, including software evaluations.
  • Oversees implementation and adoption of new technology acquisition, including performing some hands-on engineering implementation enforcing in all the case the concept of reuse when applies.
  • Designs integration scenarios for end-to-end system integration of new and existing solutions.
  • Proof of Concept – Evaluates various technologies, performing a proof of concept in each, and define the recommended solution.
  • Develops and maintain solutions architecture strategy and roadmaps, working with engineering partners and business stakeholders.
  • Contributes to creating a cohesive and reusable engineering architecture that optimizes for speed and value.
  • Is responsible for migration design of assigned platforms and processes as per project timelines and ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-shore and offshore stakeholders.
  • Partners with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements
  • Provides mentoring and coaching to Sr Associate, Associates and Jr Associate software engineers.

Role Requirements

  • IT Professional (Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar) or equivalent 10+ year’s work experience in technical role and/or mix with 10+ years’ experience in software design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications.
  •  5 years in a Solution lead capacity within a medium to large organization on which you applied at least 3 of:  Architecture Framework, ITIL, LEAN, SOA, BPM, DEVOPs, AGILE
  • Preferable 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, middleware, database architecture and networking
  • Experience working with CNCF and Open Source associate technologies and delivering integrations with surrounding engineering footprint.
  • Preferable 2+ years of previous experience on managing solutions on top of Cloud Service, hybrid cloud experience-based architecture designs and implementations is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of technical frameworks, methodologies, industry standards and specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in programming multiple languages (for example Java/C++) and multiple design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience in building a microservices based architecture and platform developed with resiliency and deployed at scale.
  • Experience with HTTP, XML, JSON, Node JS, JavaScript and YAML
  • Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Web technologies, Web Services,  APIs
  • Advanced English speaking/reading level.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills/experience.
  • Experience in Financial Services industry and X2X model
  • Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure.
