Product Data Analyst – Denver, CO

Are you passionate about solving problems through data? Do you have experience deep diving into product performance and determining growth opportunities by systematically looking at a series of metrics.? If you have a track record of driving product success through data analysis and consumer centric thinking and have a bias for action, then it’s time to join Western Union’s Digital Product team as a Product Analyst.

As a product analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide business and product decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to deliver insights that can enhance product performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.

  • Create, maintain and update dashboards and reports to track key product metrics of new product launches and feature updates.

  • Build a thorough understanding of Western Union’s customer journey to deep dive into various performance metrics, identifying customer pain points and product opportunities.

  • Expert in all analytical tools used at WU, building deep sensitivity for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to take informed product decisions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across cross-functional teams and ensure clear communication on product performance.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, statistics and/ or an MBA.

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably within product management or development.

  • Proficiency in Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Salary 

The base salary range is $76,000 - $115,000 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
