You will oversee managing the accounting of a legal entity.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accounting and bookkeeping activities. These activities include posting entries to general ledgers, balancing statements and financial reports, calculating revenue recognition and billing.
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of revenues & recoverable expenses and the collection, recording, and reporting of accounting transactions.
  • Perform all duties inherent in a managerial role.
  • Performing general ledger accounting and bookkeeping activities including review and approval.
  • Financial statement preparation activities.
  • Audit support preparation activities.
  • Calculating revenue recognition and billing.
  • Tax calculation and payment handling.
  • Management reporting for CNBV and BANXICO, preparation of materials for Board meetings.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and have at least 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • You’ll have a good understanding of what impacts financial statements and understand how it links with accounting, tax, treasury, and other parts of business.
  • Experience working in companies in the financial or payment sector or IFPE's operations.
  • Analytical mindset as well as customer focused.
  • It requires previous experience in problem solving and critical thinking. You’ll need leadership skills, initiative, and proactive attitude. Also, presentation skills, and analytical mindset as well as customer focus.
  • It’s required advanced English level and intermediate/advanced Office package.
