Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Contamination Task Force Leader in executing contamination‑control strategies and improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate contamination‑related failures and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve contamination issues and improve processes.
  • Analyze quality trends, contamination‑related defects, and risk areas using statistical/analytical tools.
  • Support AI‑driven productivity and digitalization efforts to enhance contamination detection and quality responsiveness.
  • Assist in contamination‑related requirements for New Product Introduction (NPI) and reliability metrics.
  • Support overall product quality and reliability

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science or related field 
  • 3-6 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Failure Analysis, or related technical functions.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, contamination control, failure analysis, and root‑cause methodologies (e.g., 8D).
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with urgency and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in contamination control, cleanroom environments, or particle‑related failure mechanisms.
  • Background in HDD manufacturing, product reliability, or QA test interpretation.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven analytics, data‑modeling tools, or predictive quality systems.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs.

SKILLS:

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
