Loan Officer

What you'll do:

As a Loan Officer - Inside you'll be responsible for assisting clients in the loan application process, providing expert advice on loan products, and ensuring seamless transactions from start to finish. You'll build rapport, analyze financial situations and determine the appropriate loan product to meet our client’s goals.
  • Speak with borrowers to assess their loan requirements. Consult with clients on loan options that are best suited for their needs; clearly present benefits and options.
  • Be the go-to person for the borrower throughout the loan application process. Ensure a seamless and smooth process for the client by building a strong partnership with the operations team.
  • Utilize technology to multitask and manage a large pipeline. Assist borrowers with purchase transactions by utilizing our nationwide realtor referral network.
  • Maintain pre-established daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s (Key performance indicators). Assist with other tasks as requested by managers, management and leadership team.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience in Consumer Lending Sales or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Encompass (LOS), Velocify (CRM) and MS Office products.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
