Westcan Bulk Transport, a division of KAG Canada, is looking for industry-leading Class 1 Professional drivers, like you!
Additional $65 per trip compensation if you sign your employment contract on or before December 16th!
Wage guarantee of $4000 bi-weekly!
Product: Fuel (hauled in super b tankers)
Rate of Pay: Flat rate per trip.
Job Location: This position will focus on the Yellowknife-based winter road operations in Northwest Territories (NT)
Duration: Estimated dates of end of February 14th to beginning of April 2026 (dependent on weather and loads hauled)
Available work:
Fuel to Diavik Diamond Mine
- Rate of Pay: $1050.00 per round trip
- Trip specifics: Load at Yellowknife Tank Farm, deliver to Diavik, return to Yellowknife. Round trip is 2 days in duration.
Fuel to ACDC/Ekati Diamond Mine
- Rate of Pay: $1090.00 per round trip
- Trip specifics: Load at Yellowknife Tank Farm, deliver to ACDC/Ekati, return to Yellowknife. Round trip is 2 days in duration.
Fuel to Gahcho Kue Diamond Mine
- Rate of Pay: $1845.00 per round trip
- Trip specifics: Depart Yellowknife, load in Hay River, return to Yellowknife, deliver to Gahcho Kue, return to Yellowknife. Round trip is 3 days in duration.
Contract Highlights:
- Seasonal drivers are provided round trip airfare OR mileage at the beginning and end of contract
- $1,000 completion bonus available for all drivers who complete the contract (must adhere to incident-free driving and company policy).
- Hourly pay at $27.08 online, in class, in cab and product training/certification.
- Facilities available for meals, showers, laundry
- Opportunity to extend to full-time or full-time rotational following successful seasonal contract.
You bring:
- Class 1 highway driving experience with B-Train experience or 5 years driving experience
- Abstract considers past 3-5 years, depending on infraction
Other Requirements:
- Successful candidate must pass on-site company paid Job Abilities Assessment, Alcohol and Drug screen, criminal record check and reference checks.
- Required to steel toed boots, CSA green triangle, with minimum 6 inch shaft.
- Required to bring arctic grade, flame resistant outerwear and arctic grade sleeping bag.
