About this role

As the Senior Technician - Maintenance, you will perform skilled preventive and predictive maintenance and advanced repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. You will also repair, alter, and maintain a variety of tools and equipment. Additionally, you will oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians.  
 
Shift: Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Senior Maintenance Technician: 

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and advanced repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems facilities. 

  • Monitor maintenance of equipment  
  • Monitor maintenance of building and site, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and roof 
  • Monitor capital construction projects, equipment purchases, and installations to maximize investment 
  • Monitor calibration of scales, wire handling equipment, and measurement equipment 
  • Ensure repairs to facility and equipment are expeditiously performed

Education & Experience: 

  • High school degree or equivalent required 
  • Technical School certification preferred 
  • 2 years’ experience required in Distribution Center Operations maintenance; 5 years preferred 

Skills & Requirements: 

  • Electrical Wiring skills 
  • Small electrical motor repair  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
