About this role
Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Services
- 14-bed LDRP unit. Required Neonatal Resuscitation Program will be provided, AWHONN Fetal monitoring, basic and intermediate provided, ACLS
- 14-bed overflow/postpartum unit
- OB/GYN and CNM providers
- Provides family-centered maternity and newborn care
- Approximately 1,800 births annually
- Level II NICU
- Staffed with Lactation Consultants
- Clinical Ladder opportunities
- RN Fellowship Program for non OB experience RNs
- Full time (72 hours biweekly)
- Shift: 7pm-7am (12 hour night)
- Every third weekend
- Eligible for shift and weekend differential
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
