Program Summary

Join a team where nursing skill meets compassion and purpose as a Registered Nurse at the York Crisis Walk in Center you will be providing. immediate, in-person support for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises

Built on a trauma-informed approach, the program offers:

• Stabilization
• Connection to ongoing care in a safe, welcoming environment
• Offers access to timely mental health services in our community

 

General Summary

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
