About this role

Under general supervision provides essential support for departmental functions that include a wide range of activities and initiatives.

  • Perform operational and administrative functions as it relates to academic major.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by functional leader.
  • Assist in implementing functional strategies and support the team in reaching goals and objectives.
  • Support the departmental deliverables and help in planning and supporting tasks.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • This internship will provide fundamental experience within our Logistics Department.  Intern will be tied to a specific department for 10 weeks with additional 1 week rotations in the remaining departments. The rotations will include Transportation and Shipping & Receiving.  
  • Responsible for creating and providing a Power Point presentation outlining “lessons learned” during the internship to the Logistics Steering Team at the end of their internship.
  • Primary responsibility for the Logistic intern will be to get an overall experience on how each department impacts the logistics departments and our customers.
