Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods through Triceps cycle counting and report levels to plant management staff and accounting.
  • Maintain production schedule to prevent out stocks at the Weis Markets distribution center to service retail locations.
  • Coordinate third-party production needs with Weis Markets private label production needs to ensure satisfactory service.
  • Adjust production schedules to reflect inbound orders and raw materials levels.
  • Plan new purchases orders and fulfill them through Biceps and submit them to vendors.
  • Work with quality assurance to address issues and ensure good record keeping.
  • Coordinate with merchandising for timely production of limited-edition flavors.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
