Job Title : Senior Engineer - Intercompany Supplies
Division : Weir Minerals
Location : Bangalore, India

To lead and support intercompany supply operations by leveraging technical expertise in valves and pumps, ensuring seamless order execution, and bridging cross-functional teams to meet customer demands efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong product knowledge in valves and pumps.

• Deliver product demos and presentations to intercompany clients.

• Explain technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.

• Analyse customer requirements and select appropriate products.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure feasibility.

• Assist in creating proposals, RFQ responses, and technical documentation.

• Provide technical insights during proposal development.

• Manage projects end-to-end to meet customer demands and ensure efficient order execution.

• Generate SIOP plans by reviewing project/order proposals, sequencing requirements, and scheduling in SAP.

• Support contract and CDD reviews by assessing demand and supply with cross-functional teams and customers.

• Conduct timely NPD review meetings with stakeholders to ensure development milestones are met.

• Monitor Power BI reports and master production schedules to maintain on-time delivery and timely dispatch of materials.

• Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure successful order execution, including coordination for drawings, QA reports, and test certificates.

Job Knowledge, Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 4–5 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.

• Proficiency in SAP.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
