Be responsible for rubber lining manufacturing and quality control process building and improvement;
Review and feasibility study on Customer specification and drawings of rubber lining and moulding parts from manufacturing perspective;
Review and certify the competence of internal lining operators and external lining operators;
Coordinate with Engineering team on moulding process defining and continuous improvement.
Including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
· Comply with Weir SHE regulations, ensure Zero Harm results.
· Coordination with Rubber Product Manager, Sales, Customer Services team and Engineering team on quotation process, provide evaluation result based on manufacturing perspectives.
· Take part in new contract assessment process and provide evaluation result based on manufacturing perspectives.
· Cooperation with Engineering team as representative of Operation Team, on NPI projects, ECN process, FA process, etc.
· Build up and review working instructions for rubber lining team and moulding process, and responsible for the continuous improvement of working process.
· Responsible for moulding tools development and continuous improvement.
· Responsible for skills training of rubber lining and moulding operators.
· Other tasks assigned by manager
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or above, major in IE or Chemicals, Mechanical is preferred
· 5 years experience in related areas.
· Lean experience is plus.
Well command of SAP.
