Position Summary

Provides administrative, technical, and analytical support to the Office of People Development & Workforce Planning through management of people development and career development activities, including leadership development program activities, maintenance of the WCM Learning Management System and various SharePoint sites, coordination of other training and career programs, and related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administration and documentation of all training-related and career development activities.
  • Tracks participant registration, assigns training to appropriate learners, communicates with participants regarding their activities, trouble-shoots and answers questions as needed.
  • Manages all WCM Leadership Development Program logistics. Organizes 360-degree assessments and coaching through vendors, communicates with CAOs/DAs and program leaders, and communicates with participants about classes and 360 debrief sessions.
  • Coordinates with SharePoint team on changes needed to the WCM Leadership Development Program SharePoint site. Makes changes to people development, learning, and career development SharePoint sites as needed.
  • Conducts necessary administrative activities to support people development (aka learning) and career development, including scheduling sessions, booking rooms, ordering supplies, managing surveys, etc.
  • Responsible for all activities and data management related to the Learning Management System, the WCM Leadership Development Program, career development programs, etc.
  • Provides assistance with learning and career content development, including newsletters, presentations, infographics, etc. Proactively learns new learning technologies, adult learning methods, and related tools and technologies.
  • With approval, manages internal and external financial transactions in coordination with the HR Operations Associate, including procurement of supplies, business expense reimbursement, etc.
  • Submits payment requests to HR Operations Associate for departmental expenses.
  • Provides additional administrative, technical, and analytical support to the department, as required, including setting up classroom for in-person sessions.

Education

  • High School Diploma

Experience

Approximately four years of experience or more working in an office setting, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, training, learning and development, or other human capital management activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Developed analytical skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze workforce and training data.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Qualtrics, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Technical knowledge and background to learn and master learning management platforms and content development software.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver in person and web-based programs.

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands

    Must be able to lift boxes, move tables, and carry flipcharts and other supplies to different training locations across New York City.
