Salary Range: $23.46 - $24.73  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Provides administrative and secretarial support for the Office of Curriculum and Educational Development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with course implementation, including collecting/uploading course materials; maintaining/revising course faculty databases; organizing faculty/student mailings/files and assists with general office activities to ensure smooth course implementation.
  • Arranges & oversees the distribution of course-related correspondence; prepares schedules/student group composition materials; coordinates course-specific activities; assists in the recruitment of faculty for courses.
  • Assists with the student assessment process: creates student assessment forms; implements the distribution, collection, and processing of forms as needed.
  • Assists with course evaluation process: creates course evaluation materials; implements the distribution and collection of course evaluation materials; generates reports for review.
  • Provides Educational Committee support: assists in arranging meetings, records, compiles, transcribes and distributes meeting minutes.
  • Provides faculty support: arranges ad hoc meetings; coordinates course session rooms; provides AV support when needed; confirms faculty participation in teaching/examinations; reports faculty absences; retrieves & duplicates course materials.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in the use of computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and email Internet programs.
