Job Description:

At Wegmans our overnight team works behind the scenes and plays an integral part in supporting our store's daytime operations. As a Team Member in this area, you’ll work hands-on to ensure high quality products are accurately delivered to the right area of the store to ensure the daytime teams can get products out on the shelves for customers to enjoy. If you’re a night owl who is looking for an opportunity to impact the big picture, this could be the role for you!

What will I do?

• Work as part of a team to unload deliveries, break down pallets onto runners, move product to the correct store area; rotating for freshness, and checking for and properly disposing of outdated product
• Provide incredible service to all areas of our store operations by organizing orders in a way that minimizes the risk of damaging product and enables departments to unload deliveries efficiently
• Work with vendors and verify that quantity, quality and products delivered match invoices and that vendors are following our high standards
• Maintain store sales floor and backroom appearance and familiarize yourself with inventory to assist in locating products
• Properly use equipment and handle products, keep accurate logs, and follow all food and human safety guidelines
