We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, automation, and management of scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor with strong ownership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to build reliable, secure, and high-performing platforms across AWS and on-prem environments.
- Design, build, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure along with hybrid (cloud and on-prem) environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar.
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Own production systems, handle incidents, and lead root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices, including access control, secrets management, and secure deployments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and IT teams to improve system stability and developer productivity.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Proven experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud and on-prem).
- Experience designing security-focused architectures (DevSecOps, Zero Trust).
- Exposure to large-scale, distributed, or high-availability systems.
