We are seeking a results-driven International Business Development Manager with deep exposure to API-led products and technology-driven solutions to accelerate our global growth. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling international business opportunities across key markets, with a strong focus on partnerships, enterprise sales, and solution-led selling of APIs and platform-based offerings.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of commercial acumen, technical understanding of APIs, and proven experience driving revenue in global markets. You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate complex API capabilities into compelling business value propositions for customers and partners worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive international business development strategy across North America, Europe, Middle East, APAC, or other strategic global markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for API-based products, integrations, and platform solutions.
  • Develop and manage relationships with enterprise clients, system integrators, technology partners, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and position APIs effectively for use cases such as integrations, automation, data exchange, and platform extensibility.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and solution architecture teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Drive partnership-led growth by onboarding and enabling global partners and resellers.
  • Monitor global market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving API ecosystems to identify new revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and consistently meet or exceed international revenue targets.
  • Represent the organization at international conferences, partner events, and industry forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7–11 years of experience in international business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in technology or SaaS companies.
  • Strong hands-on experience selling or positioning API-driven products, platforms, or developer-centric solutions.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, integrations, web services, authentication mechanisms, and API monetization models.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals in international markets.
  • Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders, including CTOs, product leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams and managing multiple markets simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive strategic growth initiatives.

  • Experience with SaaS, fintech, platform products, or developer tools.
  • Prior exposure to global startup or scale-up environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and pipeline management.
