We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Senior Advisor to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth! In this role, you will support, maintain and implement the health, safety and environmental requirements for the project.

 

 

Perth Women and Babies Hospital

 

Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.

Your focus will include:

 

  • Support the delivery of corporate HSE management system requirements, initiatives, and programs. 
  • Lead regular site inspections and subcontractor HSE audits and report on the results.
  • Assist with implementation of QHSE components including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and initiatives.  
  • Ensure compliance standards are managed, met and implemented for the project.
  • Assist with the identification of HSE risks for the project and develop appropriate mitigation measures
  • Drive positive safety performance outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement and produce detailed and accurate HSE reporting.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HSE related disciplines 
  • Previous experience in a similar position with large scale commercial building construction projects.
  • Proven skills with developing, monitoring and the implementation of safety management systems.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to promote a safe working environment and lead a strong safety culture.
