This internship program is designed to create a pipeline of candidates who may become Webster’s next generation of leaders.

Every internship opportunity is structured to provide you with a meaningful experience, broad exposure to our corporate functions, and opportunities for mentorship and networking. Summer Intern Program duration: June 1 – August 7, 2026.

Summer Internship – IT Product Analyst

• Research and evaluate on new AI/GenAI tools and provide recommendations for AI based Bank operation use cases.
• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain Finance and HR related solutions
• Assist product owners in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Analyze product features, workflows, and system integrations within banking and finance platforms
• Support Agile processes such as backlog grooming, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)

Location:  Southington, CT

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:

• Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
• Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
• Highly organized
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail
• Experience creating and delivering presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
• Strong analytical skills
• Collaborative and inclusive team player
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $21.00/hour USD to $23.00/hour USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
