1. To assist in the day to day operations of the Security function ensure effective and professional delivery of security services to the Port, its customers, and port users.

2. Assist the Security Management in Port operations, ensure compliance to DP World regulations including. ISPS Code, ISO: 28000 and other pertinent regulations.

3. To possess overall security command responsibilities in terms of operations in designated area of responsibility. 

4. To assist the security management in monitoring the performance of World Security and other contracted security personnel.

5. Assist the Security Management for Risk identification and risk management for the Port, carry out risk analysis and provide suggestions.

6. To conduct on site inspections on daily basis as per the departmental checklist, assist in audit/review reports, reviewing findings, and suggest recommendations to line managements.

7. To investigate and resolve all security sensitive incidents, accidents and violations with follow up action for resolution. Assists in incident analysis and investigation related to all incidents occurring with port premises.

8. Ensure all security equipment’s are properly operated, tested, calibrated and maintained accordingly.

9. To respond all emergencies including accidents, incidents and violations, foresee potential threats and ensure precautionary measures are in place to protect assets within port premises.

10. To assure all the documents, standards and professionalism for the security department are in compliance with ISPS & ISO requirements.
