MARITIME CADET EXCELLENCE PROGRAM

P&O Maritime Mozambique is offering a 24-month professional training opportunity to young Mozambican recent graduates in the fields of Maritime Navigation (x5) and Maritime Engineering (x5).
This structured Cadet Excellence Program is designed to deliver high quality, IMO certified professional training, combined with practical international exposure and embarkation on globally compliant vessels. The program enables participants to obtain the Certificate of Competence in their respective fields and build a solid career within a leading multinational maritime group.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Mozambican nationality;
- Degree in Maritime Navigation and/or Maritime Engineering from a recognized institution;
- Recognized degree completion certificate issued upon successful defense of the dissertation;
- Recent graduates (2023 onwards) with a minimum final course grade of 14 values;
- Additional maritime safety training, including STCW certification, will be considered an advantage;
- Strong command of Maritime Technical English, both written and spoken;
- Solid computer literacy, including standard office and operational systems;
- Medically fit for sea service, with proven physical and mental fitness;
- Full availability and willingness to commit to a 24-month training program, including 12 months of onboard sea service;
- Willingness to travel and work locally and internationally, including a professional development assignment at P&O Maritime Headquarters in the UAE.
