Job Purpose:

The Group Manager, Internal Communications is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal communication strategy that supports DP World’s enterprise-wide group functions, including Compliance, Operations, Audit, Legal, Sustainability, HSE, Technology, Finance, Security and Procurement. This role ensures that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with DP World’s corporate vision, values, and business priorities.

A key focus of this role is to develop a structured and scalable communication framework, equipping enterprise function leaders with best practices, messaging guidelines, and engagement strategies to effectively communicate with employees. This includes creating playbooks, toolkits, and digital content strategies to support consistent and impactful communication.

Key Accountabilities:

       Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the Group VP, Internal Communications, the Group IC team and the Regional IC leaders to develop and deliver IC campaigns for the enterprise functions. 
  • Serve as an advisor to leadership on employee engagement.
  • Ensure internal communications reinforce DP World’s culture, EVP and support business objectives.

    Employee Engagement & Campaigns

  • Design and execute global engagement campaigns to build understanding of enterprise functions campaigns. 
  • Support enterprise function leaders in delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communication to employees.
  • Develop leadership communication toolkits, including talking points, Q&A documents, and presentation materials to ensure alignment in messaging.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to measure engagement and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Oversee employee listening initiatives and use insights to continually improve IC.
  • Lead the creation of clear, compelling, and consistent employee messaging.
  • Collaborate with other functions to support strategic initiatives with impactful communications.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, within a large organisation. 
  • Proven experience in supporting enterprise function leaders in strategic communication. 
  • Strong track record of large-scale engagement campaigns.
  • Experience in developing playbooks, messaging frameworks and communication best practices. 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Experience leading digital transformation projects for internal comms channels. 
  • Strong knowledge of digital communications tools, analytics, and emerging trends.
