In this hybrid role, you will report to our Ops Safety & Readiness Manager.


 


You will:





  • Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end operational processes that are built for 10x scale. This includes identifying bottlenecks in current workflows and working cross-functionally to developing & implementing resilient solutions.




  • Identify processes with complex & interfacing  workflows; develop project proposals to strengthen the control structure to improve safety & redundancy.




  • Evaluate Operations safety control structure; Partner cross-functionally to align heat maps and  prioritization for features which strengthen response procedures and improve safety.. 




  • Lead large-scale projects involving diverse stakeholders including Engineering, Product, Legal, and Field Operations to align on process changes and implementation timelines.




  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process health and scalability, using data to drive continuous improvement cycles.





 


You have:




  • 7+ years of Program Management experience, specifically within complex operations, aviation, autonomous vehicles, logistics, or high-growth technology environments.




  • Project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP) with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously.




  • Ability to translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for executive leadership and technical partners.




  • Strong leadership skills, and clear verbal and written communication, alongside the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decision-making 




  • Significant expertise in scaling processes within complex, growing areas




 


We prefer:




  • Experience designing process in highly regulated spaces (Aviation, nuclear, oil & gas, etc…)




  • Expertise within autonomous or ride-hailing space




  • Experience with road safety, design, or transportation planning



The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
